Here they are…your top 4 reasons to workout in the morning.
I am NOT a morning person (but my husband is, THANKFULLY for my kid’s sake LOL). I am like the LEAST morning person ever. In fact, I do my best work after my kid is in bed. I am a MACHINE at night (I am writing this a 9:40pm) BUT I am trialing a new program (it launches in November!) and it requires a morning workout. So, I have been doing it, because I committed.
So why do it? Here are the 4 top reasons…
- It will set the tone for the day. If you start off by doing a workout, that is positive which means that it will start you day on a positive note. Who wouldn’t wan that? I LOVE it because it’s DONE and out of the way.
- More quality time with your friends and family. If you aren’t having to rush home to get in a workout or having to workout after everyone is in bed you can actually enjoy your down time and relax. PLUS it gives you more time with your family without worrying if your workout is something you can fit in
If you can train yourself to work out before the sun rises, you can enjoy more time with family and friends.
- You can check off that to-do list. Honestly, it just makes sense because it’s one less thing you have to find time for during your day. You can check it off first thing and I KNOW I am not the only one who LOVES checking off the boxes. And say by chance you miss your morning workout, you have many other times you could fit it in during the day where if you plan it for late at night and you don’t fit it in, you are SOL.
- It will take away the stress. Do you ever wake up and are stressed before the day even starts? Yep, me too. I am always thinking about the 1001 things I have to do. The workout help me clear my head and stress less! And this way you won’t have to skip the workout at 8pm because you are too tired…because it’s already DONE.
Now let’s be REAL for a minute, my morning is 7am not 5am and it will never be 5am. I don’t usually see 5am unless I am still up from the night before. But this is improvement for me and I LOVE it!
PS A little of my morning unicorn juice is ALWAYS a must 😉
