She ain’t nothing but a Goal Digger 😉
Being a goal digger is the way to go. So, let’s talk about setting goals, because there is more to it than meets the eye. Setting a goal sounds easy enough, but the reality is that it is something that not a ton of people know how to do. There are tons of people out there, who say to themselves “I’m going to start a business! I am going to help some people, and maybe I’ll make some money. And….ya… we’ll see how it goes.” ?I’m not sure if it’s because people don’t set a ton of specific goals, but the reality is that setting goals will set your expectations.
If you aren’t goal setting, it’s going to be really hard for you to be successful. ?You aren’t alone in not being clear with your goal setting. I know that when I started, I didn’t set any goals for myself. ?I primarily wanted to get myself a discount, help myself and that’s about it. ?A little way in, I suddenly realized that I was going to more with my business. ?So, what I did was start small. I set small goals that I knew I could achieve. ?I knew that long term, that I wanted to make a full time income, working part time hours. (Great goal, right?!) I knew that could not be my ONLY goal, or even my 1st one. I realized that I needed to begin setting short term goals that would support my long term ones.
So what are some short term goals that YOU can set, that will lead to your long term goal? For myself, I decided how many people I wanted to help every month get started on their fitness journey? How many people could I help per month on their coaching journey? What events should I attend? What daily activities do I need to do so that I can help people? There are lots more questions that I asked myself, and lots of tips that I want to share with you on being a Goal Digger. Want to hear them, check out the rest of my video below.
