Why aren’t people successful? Time for some #truthtalk
For the most part, I try to keep my post positive. I like to keep the negative stuff to a minimum, but there is room for discussion about some truths. So, let’s talk about why, I think, some people are not successful with a home based business. For the most part, the average employee goes to work, comes home, collects a paycheck and they are perfectly successful at that. They can hang onto that job, keep that job, show up every day and put in the work. They have someone else telling them what to do, every step of the way.
As a business mentor, I absolutely help my teams succeed, 100%! I can show them the way. I can show them how to get to know people. I can show them how I built my business. There are no secrets with me. I share everything with my team. That is the kind of leader that I am and that is the kind of leader that I want to be. This isn’t a competition. It’s about everyone getting to the top and holding each others hands to get there.
What I can NOT do, is do the work for them. What I mean by that is that I can show them the way, (I’m happy to show everyone the way) but not everyone is successful. The reality is that when push comes to shove, not everyone is willing to put in the work. People can say that they want to do it, they can say how badly they want it, but the old saying “Action speak louder than words” really applies to entrepreneurship. In entrepreneurship, there are so many ups and downs.
